THE SCIENCE BEHIND KAIROS

Accuracy is Everything

Our product's accuracy has been confirmed through spectrophotometry tests conducted in a controlled laboratory setting, and verified by qualified wine sommeliers from around the world.

The Science behind Kairos

Sending out EM waves to the top of the wine surface.

The Science behind Kairos

The Waves activate and stimulate the Oxygen molecules (O₂), making the oxygenation process faster.

The Science behind Kairos

The Kairos Aerator achieves in one second what a traditional decanter does in a full minute.

Analysis behind the technology

To analyse wine oxygenation, we used a spectrometer to measure light absorbance in wine aerated with Kairos and a traditional decanter.

The graphs below show the traditional decanter (pink line) and Kairos (blue line) produce similar results, but Kairos achieves this in seconds rather than minutes, giving you more time to savour the moment.

The graphs show spectrometry results for three different aeration times:

  • 1 second/1 minute
  • 30 seconds/30 minutes
  • 60 seconds/60 minutes

These results demonstrate how much light the wine absorbs at each time, meaning how the wine evolves in terms of oxidation.
